2016 1oz Gold Krugerrand

Click here! With a name that blends the famous South African President Paul Kruger and the South African monetary currency, the rand, Krugerrands have been legal tender worldwide since the first coin was struck on 3 July 1967. The coin displays the effigy of Paul Kruger on the obverse and the spring buck antelope, South Africa's national animal, surrounded by the specifications and year-date on the reverse. As the world's first ounce-denominated gold coin, the Gold Krugerrand is the most widely held and actively traded bullion coin in the world. To date some 48 million ounces of fine gold contained in newly minted Krugerrands have been sold worldwide. This equates to more Krugerrands in circulation internationally than all other gold coins combined. Click here!
